Speech Therapy Assessment and Intervention
Does your child require an initial assessment or ongoing therapy with an experienced speech pathologist?
Speech Therapy Services
Initial Assessment
$230
An initial assessment starts with the Speech Pathologist discussing your child’s case history, then they will assess your child’s communication skills.
The assessment will focus on your primary concerns regarding your child’s communication. Areas that can be assessed include articulation, fluency, language (understanding and use), as well as social-interaction skills. Please allow up to 90 minutes for this consultation.
30 Minute Therapy Session
$105
Following your child’s assessment, therapy sessions can then be offered at the clinic with one of our experienced speech pathologists.
Parental involvement is an important part of a child’s therapy program.
Home practice ideas and activities will be provided, so as to consolidate the goals that we have targeted in our therapy sessions and ensure your child will receive the maximum benefit from their therapy.
50 Minute Therapy Session
$160
As well as the 30 minute therapy appointments, we also offer 50 minute sessions. These longer appointments are ideal for when a child has just started therapy, as this is when we find parents wish to spend time discussing the goals that have been set for their child.
The longer session may also be appropriate for school-aged children, whose ability to stay on task is often more developed than that of a younger child.
School Aged Assessment
$560
This comprehensive assessment includes an initial 90 minute appointment, followed by a subsequent 30 minute consultation (usually 1-2 weeks after the first appointment). A diagnostic report is also provided.
50 Minute Group Therapy Session
$85
We run a number of group therapy programmes, including Social Language groups for pre-schoolers and school-aged children, plus School Readiness groups are also available for children.
