Initial Assessment

$260

An initial assessment starts with the Speech Pathologist discussing your child’s case history, then they will assess your child’s communication skills.

The assessment will focus on your primary concerns regarding your child’s communication. Areas that can be assessed include articulation, fluency, language (understanding and use), as well as social-interaction skills. Please allow up to 90 minutes for this consultation.

Standard Consultation

$193

Following your child’s assessment, therapy sessions can then be offered at the clinic with one of our experienced speech pathologists.

Parental involvement is an important part of a child’s therapy program.

Home practice ideas and activities will be provided, so as to consolidate the goals that we have targeted in our therapy sessions and ensure your child will receive the maximum benefit from their therapy.

The standard consultation is of 50 minutes duration and allows for for an additional 10 minutes of set up and completion of therapy notes.

Shorter Consultation

$125

As well as the standard consultation, we also offer shorter sessions. These run for 30 minutes and once again, allowance is made for 10 minutes to set up the room and write session notes.

School Aged Assessment

This comprehensive assessment includes an initial 90 minute appointment, followed by a subsequent 30 minute consultation (usually 1-2 weeks after the first appointment). A diagnostic report is also provided.
